
S8UL, an Indian esports organization, has achieved a significant milestone by qualifying for the Esports World Cup (EWC) 2025 finals in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, across three major titles: Apex Legends, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB), and EAFC 25. The EWC 2025 is set to be the largest esports event ever, with a prize pool of USD 70 million, and S8UL will represent India on a global stage.
The Apex Legends team, comprising Sharky, Jesko, and Legacy, secured their place through the ALGS 2025 Split 1 Pro League (APAC South). They are set to compete in the ALGS Midseason Playoffs at the EWC, scheduled for July 10-13 (IST), where a prize pool of USD 2 million will be up for grabs.
Jonny will represent India in EAFC 25 at the FC Pro 25 World Championship from August 7-10 (IST), vying for a share of the USD 1.5 million prize pool. Another player, Happy, is still in the running, having qualified for the Play-Ins.
The MLBB team, featuring MobaZane, FwydChickn, Hoon, ZIA, Shark, and Bestplayer1, qualified for the grand finals following their success in the NACT Spring Season. They will participate in the MLBB Mid-Season Cup (MSC) 2025 at the EWC, which offers a prize pool of USD 3 million.
Several other S8UL players are also competing for spots in Chess, StarCraft II, and fighting games at the EWC.
