The introduction of the iPhone 17 series, with its advanced features, has led to excitement among tech enthusiasts. However, the price tags – Rs 82,900 for the iPhone 17, Rs 1,34,900 for the iPhone 17 Pro, and Rs 1,49,900 for the iPhone 17 Pro Max – have prompted consumers to look for ways to save money. This has led to interest in purchasing the new iPhones from different global markets.
In India, the iPhone 17 Pro Max is priced at Rs 1,49,900. In Dubai, the same model costs 5,099 AED, which is equivalent to about Rs 1,22,500. This represents a price difference of roughly Rs 27,400. Nevertheless, when the cost of a round trip from Delhi to Dubai, estimated at Rs 22,619, is considered, the total expenditure, including the phone, would be around Rs 1,45,100. The actual saving would only be about Rs 4,800.
Additional research reveals that the iPhone 17 Pro Max is more affordable in several other countries, including Vietnam, Thailand, and Japan. Pricing in the United States also presents opportunities for savings, although these vary depending on the city due to differing tax structures. The practicality of a trip to Dubai specifically for purchasing the iPhone 17 Pro Max might be questionable, as travel expenses could negate any savings.
