A brief video from China provides a potential first look at an iPhone 17 Pro Max unit, suggesting the upcoming design. The rear of the device features a redesigned camera island. The leaked color aligns with rumors of a new blue shade, potentially set for release on September 9th. In other news, Apple is updating its Vintage list. Products are added to the Vintage list when they have been out of the sales market for over 5 years, but less than 7 years. Apple Stores and Apple Authorized Service Providers generally do not repair these “obsolete” products. Some MacBook models may remain eligible for battery replacements for up to 10 years after distribution and sales have ended, depending on parts availability. The additions to the vintage list include the 13-inch and 15-inch MacBook Pro models, which were discontinued in 2017. Furthermore, the iPhone 8 Plus (64GB and 256GB) models have also been added. Reports indicate that the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max could be discontinued following the iPhone 17 launch.
