
Rumors surrounding the upcoming Apple iPhone 17 series are intensifying, with new leaks providing detailed specifications for the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max. These leaks, stemming from a Chinese Carrier Advertisement, offer a preview of the devices ahead of the anticipated September 9th launch.
The base iPhone 17 is expected to include a 6.3-inch OLED display, the Apple A19 chip, and 8GB of RAM. In terms of cameras, it’s rumored to feature a 48-megapixel main camera, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 24-megapixel front-facing camera. The device is also expected to have a 3,600 mAh battery.
Specifics for the iPhone 17 Air reveal a device that is remarkably thin and light, with a reported thickness of 5.5mm and a weight of only 145 grams. It’s expected to feature a 6.6-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a resolution of about 2740 x 1280. The Air model is rumored to have a single rear camera and a 24-megapixel front camera, and will run on the Apple A19 chip with 8GB of RAM. It will reportedly feature a 2,800 mAh battery and utilize Apple’s custom C1 modem. The reported dimensions are 163 x 77.6 x 5.5 mm.
The iPhone 17 Pro is rumored to have a 6.3-inch display, while the iPhone 17 Pro Max is speculated to feature a 6.9-inch display. Both Pro models are expected to include a new vapor chamber cooling system and the Apple A19 Pro processor with a 6-core GPU. Both Pro versions will have 12GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage. The iPhone 17 Pro is tipped to have a 3,700 mAh battery and the iPhone 17 Pro Max is expected to have a 5,000 mAh battery.
