
Samsung has launched the Galaxy A17 5G, a new contender in the mid-range smartphone market. This phone comes packed with features such as a 50MP rear camera, an Exynos processor, Google Gemini AI Assistant, and the Circle to Search function. Samsung promises to provide software updates for a period of six years.
Regarding pricing, the 6GB/128GB model is priced at Rs 18,999, the 8GB/128GB model costs Rs 20,499, and the 8GB/256GB variant is priced at Rs 23,499. The phone is available for purchase on Samsung’s official website, Amazon, and Flipkart.
Customers who use SBI and HDFC Bank credit cards (EMI) when buying from the Samsung website can benefit from a Rs 1,000 discount. This phone will be competing with other phones like the Realme P4 5G, Vivo T4R 5G, and Motorola Edge 60 Fusion 5G.
The device features a 6.7-inch Full HD+ resolution Infinity U Super AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection. It runs on an Exynos 1330 octa-core processor, with options for up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. It includes a triple-camera setup on the rear, consisting of a 50MP main camera, a 5MP ultrawide lens, and a 2MP macro lens. The front-facing camera is 13MP. The phone packs a 5000mAh battery, supporting 25W wired fast charging.
