Images and information have emerged from China, drawing attention from several publications. An unboxing video, recently made public in China, offers an in-depth look at the final design of the device and the contents of the Chinese retail box.
The video was shared by President Louis Lee, providing an official unboxing of the phone. The familiar OnePlus red box with black lettering is present, indicating that the company is retaining its existing branding and marketing fonts.
The phone comes with a charger, a red cable, and a color-coordinated case. While it’s uncertain if all markets will have the same contents, the Indian version is likely to feature a similar package.
The video reveals the phone in a new “Sandstorm” color. This color features a micro-arc oxidation process to layer a ceramic coating over the metal frame. Additional colors beyond the ceramic shade shown will be available.
OnePlus has also announced a global launch. However, firm dates for most regions are not yet confirmed. According to some media reports, October 27 is expected to be the launch date in the Chinese market, based on an official screenshot.
