
The Google Pixel Watch 4 was presented at the Made by Google Event, showcasing the company’s newest smartwatch. This device, available in two sizes, offers a suite of functionalities including Gemini quick access, more than 40 exercise modes, and pulse loss detection. The smartwatch is designed for extended battery life. The 41mm (Wi-Fi) variant is priced at ₹39,900 in India, with the 45mm size variant starting at ₹43,900. However, official release date information is currently unavailable. The device continues the curved display design of prior models, although enhancements to the bezel and peak brightness are claimed. The Actua 360 always-on display supports peak brightness up to 3000 nits. The smartwatch includes a significant hardware improvement with the new Snapdragon W5 Generation 2 processor. Google indicates the Pixel Watch 4 will offer smart reply support, alongside Gemini voice assistant integration. The user interface is based on Material 3 Expressive UI. This smartwatch features more than 40 exercise modes and provides custom running plans and real-time guidance. It also includes a pulse loss detection feature that checks the wearer’s pulse and alerts emergency contacts if needed. The Pixel Watch 4 also offers features like SpO2, ECG, and breathing rate detection. Featuring dual-frequency GPS, it includes Wi-Fi and LTE support. The 41mm variant promises up to 30 hours of battery life on a single charge, while the 45mm model can last for up to 45 hours. The watch also has fast charging capabilities. Google has also included a new fast-charging dock with the smartwatch. The charging pin has been moved to the side for 25 percent faster charging, according to the company, allowing the watch to charge from 0 to 50 percent in 15 minutes.
