
Primebook has unveiled two new laptop models: the Primebook 2 Pro and Primebook 2 Max. Both models are priced under 20,000 rupees, offering an affordable solution for consumers seeking new laptops. These laptops are targeted at a diverse group of users, including students, freelancers, creative professionals, and coders. This launch is part of Primebook’s strategy to bring AI-integrated laptops to a wider customer base.
The Primebook 2 Pro is priced at 17,990 rupees, while the Primebook 2 Max comes in at 19,990 rupees. Customers can purchase these laptops through the company’s website, as well as major online retailers like Amazon and Flipkart. Buying directly from Primebook’s site offers a 500-rupee discount. These new laptops are set to compete with offerings from Acer, Lenovo, and ASUS, specifically models such as the Acer Aspire 3, Lenovo Chromebook, ASUS Chromebook, and Lenovo IdeaPad 3.
Both the Primebook 2 Pro and Max operate on PrimeOS 3.0, which is based on Android 15. They both feature an octa-core MediaTek Helio G99 processor, providing the necessary power for multitasking, and include 8GB of RAM.
The Primebook 2 Pro has a 14.1-inch Full HD IPS anti-glare display and 128GB of UFS storage. The battery is capable of lasting up to 14 hours on a single charge. The Primebook 2 Max features a 15.6-inch Full HD IPS anti-glare display with 256GB of storage, and a battery life of up to 12 hours on a full charge.
Common features for both laptops include a 1440p webcam, noise-canceling microphone, dual stereo speakers, fast charging support, and dual USB A and USB C ports. Storage can be increased up to 1TB via a microSD card. Both laptops include a backlit keyboard, even though they are designed to be affordable. Furthermore, the laptops are equipped with built-in AI features like an AI companion and AI-powered global search.
