
Realme has launched the Realme 15X 5G in India, a new smartphone focused on affordability. Key features include a 7000mAh battery. It also boasts an IP69 rating for water and dust resistance and a 6.8-inch HD+ Sunlight display. The phone runs on an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset.
Available in Aqua Blue, Marine Blue, and Maroon Red, the base model (6GB RAM, 128GB storage) is priced at Rs 16,999. Additional configurations with 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB are priced at Rs 17,999 and Rs 19,999, respectively. The phone is available for purchase on the company’s website and Flipkart.
The Realme 15x 5G features a 6.8-inch Sunlight HD+ display. It offers a resolution of 720×1,570 pixels, a 144Hz refresh rate, a 180Hz touch sampling rate, and a 256ppi pixel density, with a peak brightness of up to 1,200 nits. The phone operates on Android 15-based Realme UI 6.0. The device uses an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, with support for up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage (expandable to 2TB via microSD).
The rear camera setup is a dual-camera system with a 50MP Sony IMX852 AI shooter with an f/1.8 aperture and 5P lens. For selfies, the phone uses a 50MP OmniVision OV50D40 front camera. Powering the device is a 7,000mAh battery with 60W fast charging support.
