The online gaming platform Zupee has discontinued its real-money gaming services, aligning with the recently passed Online Gaming Bill in India. The legislation prohibits games that involve monetary stakes. Despite the change, users can still access and enjoy the platform’s free gaming options. Zupee, a Gurugram-based company founded by Dilsher Singh Malhi and Siddhant Saurabh in 2019, has been a key player in the real-money gaming ecosystem. The company’s spokesperson confirmed that paid games were discontinued while popular free games like Ludo Supreme, Ludo Turbo, Snakes & Ladders, and Trump Card Mania will remain accessible. The Online Gaming Bill 2025, passed by Rajya Sabha, seeks to promote online social games and esports, recognizing their significance in the digital landscape. The bill establishes regulatory bodies for these sectors.
