
An Indian man, Charanpreet Singh, was the victim of a vicious attack in Adelaide, reportedly fueled by racial animosity. The assault, which took place near Kintore Avenue, began after Singh was confronted by a group of men who allegedly used racial slurs, including the phrase, “F*** off, Indian.” The attack involved physical violence that resulted in Singh suffering brain trauma and several facial fractures. Following the assault, he was taken to the hospital. A 20-year-old man has been arrested, with police continuing their search for the remaining attackers. The incident has created concern among the Indian diaspora, triggering discussions around racial discrimination. South Australian authorities have strongly denounced the attack.
