Major General Alnur Musayev, ex-chief of Kazakhstan’s National Security Committee (KNB), has alleged that Russian President Vladimir Putin possesses a trove of compromising videos and documents that could severely damage former US President Donald Trump. This claim has emerged just before an anticipated meeting between Trump and Putin in Alaska.
Musayev’s history includes service as an officer in the KGB during the Soviet era, and later he headed the KNB of Kazakhstan. In February 2025, Musayev also alleged that Donald Trump was recruited as a KGB agent in 1987.
The alleged damaging materials include evidence of sexual offenses against minors and financial dealings associated with Russia, Kazakhstan, and other former Soviet states. They purportedly contain documents linked to Jeffrey Epstein and videos depicting sexual violence against women and underage girls. Musayev claims that the FSB possesses these documents, and could leverage them to compel Trump to support Russian interests. It’s suggested that Trump might be pressured to destabilize NATO and the European Union under Kremlin influence.
Musayev further claims that Kazakh businessmen supplied girls to Jeffrey Epstein’s private island and Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort. Tofik Arifov was the key individual involved. He faced a criminal case in the 1990s, which was withdrawn after the FSB intervened. Three other wealthy Kazakhs were allegedly implicated under Russian instruction.
In 2013, Trump organized the Miss Universe competition in Moscow, which was funded by Aras Agalarov. The competition took place at the Crocus City Complex, which Trump considered to be a crucial location in Russia.
Trump and Putin are scheduled to meet in Alaska on August 15. Their last meeting was at the G-20 summit in Japan in 2019. The meeting in Anchorage, Alaska, will focus on ending the war in Ukraine. Prior to this, Trump had mediated three unsuccessful meetings between Russia and Ukraine.
