
The Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) is holding its 25th summit in Tianjin, China. This summit is particularly important as it could provide a strategic pathway to challenge US dominance and mitigate the effects of Trump’s tariff policies. The meeting is expected to witness a unified front from India, China, and Russia against the unilateral economic strategies of the United States.
Prime Minister Modi, following a visit to Japan, arrived in China to attend the SCO summit, which will commence in Tianjin. The summit will bring together delegates from over 20 countries, including India, Russia, and China. The summit will feature significant contributions from Prime Minister Modi, Russian President Vladimir Putin, and Chinese Premier Xi Jinping.
