A controversial aspect of Vladimir Putin’s security measures was reportedly on display during his summit with Donald Trump in Alaska: the use of a ‘poop suitcase.’ The purpose of this unconventional practice is purportedly to safeguard Putin’s health information by preventing access to his bodily waste. Reports indicate that Putin’s bodyguards collect his fecal matter, placing it in specialized bags and then into a specific briefcase, before returning it to Russia. This practice has been reported to have been in place for years, including during Putin’s international travels, such as his 2017 visit to France. The reports stem from investigative journalism, with the aim of preventing foreign intelligence agencies from acquiring health-related information about the Russian leader through the analysis of his waste.
