A large-scale Russian airstrike on Ukraine, involving 477 drones and 60 missiles, has been described as the deadliest of the conflict. The overnight attack claimed the life of a Ukrainian F-16 pilot, identified as Maksym Ustymenko, and caused significant damage across several regions. Ukrainian forces claimed to have intercepted many of the incoming projectiles. Multiple areas, including Lviv, Poltava, and Cherkasy, were targeted, with civilian casualties reported. President Zelensky highlighted that these attacks were part of an ongoing campaign by Russia and called for international support to end the aggression.
