An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.8 struck Afghanistan on Thursday. The event, which occurred at approximately 10:26 pm IST, sent tremors across India and Pakistan. The depth of the earthquake was 160 kilometers. The NCS provided details about the event, pinpointing the location at 34.58 N latitude and 70.66 E longitude. Moreover, another earthquake of magnitude 4.8 was registered earlier that day in Afghanistan. This recent seismic activity marks the third earthquake to impact Afghanistan within the last week.
