Following a recent address at the United Nations, Donald Trump has accused the organization of deliberately sabotaging his appearance. He described three incidents that he believes were coordinated attempts to disrupt his presentation: an escalator malfunction, a teleprompter failure, and audio problems during his speech. Trump has called for an immediate investigation into these events, stating they were not mere coincidences. The first incident involved an escalator that abruptly stopped as he and the Italian Prime Minister were on it. He described the incident as a plot. During his speech at the General Assembly, the teleprompter failed, requiring him to continue his speech without it. Furthermore, he mentioned that the audio system in the hall failed, preventing many attendees from hearing him. Trump has requested that all relevant security footage, including the footage from the escalator, be preserved and examined. The UN attributed the escalator stoppage to a safety mechanism and explained the cause. The White House press secretary stated that anyone found responsible for the malfunctions should be terminated and investigated immediately.
