Tragedy struck in Kenya when a bus carrying passengers from a funeral service crashed, resulting in at least 21 fatalities. The accident took place in the southwestern region of the country. The bus was en route from Kakamega to Kisumu when the driver lost control near a roundabout. The incident claimed the lives of 10 women, 10 men, and a 10-year-old girl. Kenya, along with other East African nations, grapples with frequent road accidents, often attributed to poor road infrastructure and speeding. Earlier in the week, a separate incident in Naivasha involved a bus crash that caused nine deaths.
