Multiple locations across Gaza were hit by Israeli strikes on Monday, leading to the deaths of at least 34 Palestinians. The attacks occurred shortly after Israel announced a temporary easing of aid restrictions, including a pause in military operations in certain areas, with the intention of facilitating safer routes for aid distribution. Israel had previously restricted the entry of essential supplies. Though aid agencies have welcomed these moves, they emphasize that the current aid measures are inadequate to address the escalating hunger crisis. Despite the efforts to provide aid, accessing food has become a matter of life and death for many Palestinians. Tragically, some individuals have been killed while attempting to obtain aid. The Health Ministry in Gaza, a credible source for casualty figures, reports that over 59,800 Palestinians have died during the conflict, with a majority of the deceased being women and children.
