On August 22, approximately at 8:50 PM, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) detected a ballistic missile launched from Yemen targeting central Israel. Air raid sirens sounded in Tel Aviv, Lod, Ramat Gan, and surrounding areas. The Arrow 3 missile defense system intercepted the missile mid-air, with debris falling near Moshav Ginaton, Lod. There were no reports of serious injuries, although Magen David Adom reported minor injuries to people rushing to shelters.
