
In the wake of the recent earthquake in Afghanistan, India has swiftly responded with a significant humanitarian aid package. The earthquake, which struck eastern Afghanistan, caused extensive damage and resulted in numerous fatalities. India’s aid, totaling 21 tons, has been transported to Kabul by air.
The relief materials encompass a wide range of essential supplies designed to meet the immediate needs of the affected population. These include blankets, tents, hygiene kits, water storage tanks, generators, kitchen utensils, portable water purifiers, sleeping bags, essential medicines, wheelchairs, hand sanitizers, water purification tablets, ORS solution, and medical consumables. This response underscores India’s commitment to assisting countries facing disasters.
