The IDF confirmed the elimination of Bashar Thabet, a Hamas commander from the Development and Projects Department, which is part of Hamas’ weapons production HQ. Thabet was responsible for research and development within Hamas’ weapons manufacturing. In addition to eliminating Thabet, the IDF located and dismantled terrorist infrastructure, removed terrorists, and took out tunnel shafts. The Israeli Air Force (IAF) launched airstrikes targeting approximately 75 terror sites, including military compounds. Earlier in the week, the IDF also eliminated Muhammad Uthayn, Commander of Hamas’ Daraj Tuffah Battalion. Protests calling for the release of hostages held by Hamas were held in Israel and outside the U.S. Embassy in Tel Aviv, with calls for Donald Trump to intervene.
