
India has formally reopened its embassy in Kabul, marking a renewed and strengthened presence in Afghanistan. This diplomatic initiative is set to deepen bilateral engagement and cooperative efforts. The Ministry of External Affairs stated that this move is intended to reinforce friendly ties. In a reciprocal gesture, Afghanistan’s Deputy Prime Minister personally assessed the progress of the Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India (TAPI) gas pipeline, emphasizing the need to fast-track its completion. The TAPI project holds immense strategic importance for India, promising to secure a vital source of natural gas to meet escalating energy needs, support industrial expansion, and contribute to economic development. Regional leaders have lauded the project as a cornerstone of future prosperity and stability.
