Pakistan, shaken by India’s military display in Operation Sindoor, is taking measures to strengthen its defense capabilities. During the ‘Marka-e-Haq’ ceremony in Islamabad, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif announced the formation of the Pakistan Army Rocket Force Command. This new command will be responsible for deploying a large inventory of conventional missiles and rockets, including the ‘Fateh’ series. This strategic move is Pakistan’s response to the significant losses it suffered in Operation Sindoor and India’s increasing missile capabilities. The Rocket Force will function alongside the existing Army Strategic Force Command (ASFC), focusing exclusively on conventional missiles and rockets, excluding nuclear weapons. This initiative is Pakistan’s attempt to balance India’s missile power, particularly the BrahMos, Prithvi, and Agni series. This decision is a significant shift in Pakistan’s military strategy. Operation Sindoor demonstrated a key change in India’s military strategy. The Indian army excelled, utilizing missiles, precise targeting, and advanced weaponry to defeat the enemy. Operation Sindoor was a clear message that India’s defense capabilities have drastically improved. After Operation Sindoor, India continues to enhance its military strength. The operation was a response to a terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir on April 22, where 26 tourists were killed. The Indian army retaliated, eliminating numerous terrorist hideouts and over 100 terrorists, making a strong statement about India’s military capabilities.
