A passenger ferry disaster in the Bali Strait has claimed the lives of four people, with over thirty still missing after the vessel sank. The ferry, the Tunu Pratama Jaya, was carrying passengers and numerous vehicles when it capsized. The ship was en route from Ketapang Port in Banyuwangi to Gilimanuk, Bali, when the accident occurred. The Indonesian National Search and Rescue Agency (Basarnas) is leading the search and rescue operation, facing challenging weather conditions. Survivors have been rescued, and the deceased have been recovered, but the search for the missing continues. Local authorities have issued warnings about potential high winds and large waves in the area.
