Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei stated on Saturday that Iran’s armed forces are ready to engage with Israel. Khamenei emphasized that all elements of the Iranian government, as well as the populace, back the military. He condemned Israel’s actions as a major error, predicting that it would lead to the regime’s ruin. Khamenei vowed that Iran would avenge its martyrs and defend its airspace. He reiterated the preparedness of Iran’s forces and the backing they receive from the country’s leaders and citizens. He promised a powerful response, stating there would be no mercy. Khamenei also predicted that life would become difficult for Israelis, asserting the Zionist regime would not escape the repercussions of its actions. He concluded that Iran’s armed forces will strike the ‘evil Zionist enemy’ severely, with the backing of the Iranian people, and that the Islamic Republic would prevail.
