The Sumud flotilla, consisting of international activists, is nearing Gaza, aiming to breach the blockade. The flotilla is close to the Gaza coast and includes many ships carrying civilians, Italian lawmakers, and European Parliament members. Israel had earlier issued threats to the flotilla.
