Protests in the UK, focusing on restrictions against pro-Palestinian groups, led to the arrest of over 365 individuals. These arrests occurred on Saturday, as protesters deliberately defied the law to pressure the government to reconsider the new measures. The controversial law, passed by Parliament earlier in July, specifically targeted the group Palestine Action.
The ban was initiated following the group’s alleged acts of vandalism, including damage to two aircraft at a UK Air Force base. The activists were protesting the UK’s support of Israeli actions against Hamas in Gaza.
