A viral audio recording allegedly captures a conversation between Israel’s Mossad and Iranian generals, containing a stark warning before planned strikes. This recording, which is believed to be related to Israel’s Operation Rising Lion on June 13, suggests that high-ranking officials were given a limited time to flee. The central message was unambiguous: ‘You’re on our list.’ According to a report by The Washington Post, the audio reveals an Israeli intelligence operative, likely from Mossad, informing an IRGC general, ‘I can advise you now, you have 12 hours to escape with your wife and child. Otherwise, you’re on our list right now.’ This was one of at least 20 such communications sent to IRGC commanders.
The operative continued, emphasizing the severity of the threat by stating, ‘We will hit you, your family, your children, everyone, with the dirt,’ while offering the general a 12-hour reprieve. The threats were delivered in Persian. The agent reiterated the time-sensitive nature of the warning: ‘Like I said, 12 hours from this very minute that I spoke to you, you have time to escape,’ and further stated, ‘If not, you have no one to blame but yourself.’ The operative also claimed to be calling from a country that had recently carried out assassinations of top IRGC officials. The conversation continued with the operative asking the general, ‘Do you want to be one of them? Do you want to be the next one on the list? Do you also want to destroy your wife and child? No, right?’ The general’s response was, ‘So, what should I do?’ The Iranian general was then instructed to record a video denouncing the Iranian regime and send it via Telegram within the 12-hour timeframe, the outcome of which remains uncertain. The intent of these warnings was to spread fear among the leadership and complicate any succession planning within the IRGC. The Israeli Prime Minister’s Office is yet to release a statement on the matter.
