The Axiom-4 mission, which includes Indian astronaut Shubhanshu Shukla, has been postponed by NASA. The launch was initially scheduled for June 22, but a new date is yet to be announced. The decision to delay the launch stems from the need to assess the operational status of the International Space Station (ISS), particularly after recent repairs. The mission involves a crew of four astronauts, including Shubhanshu Shukla, who will be transported to the ISS via SpaceX’s Falcon-9 rocket. The team includes Peggy Whitson, Slavoj Uznanski, and Tibor Kapu. The mission has faced previous setbacks, including issues with the Falcon-9 rocket and the ISS’s systems. The delay reflects a commitment to ensuring the safety of the crew and the proper functioning of the ISS.
