NATO’s Secretary General Mark Rutte has publicly warned India, China, and Brazil about the potential for secondary sanctions related to their ongoing trade relationships with Russia. The ultimatum centers on the continuation of business with Russia; if these countries do not cease such dealings, sanctions will be applied. Rutte urged the leaders of India, China, and Brazil to contact Vladimir Putin and convince him to accept a peace agreement brokered by the US. He cautioned that sustained trading with Russia, particularly in oil and gas, would trigger sanctions. He insisted on the necessity of serious peace talks, emphasizing that failure to participate would lead to massive repercussions. Furthermore, Rutte pledged support from European countries to assist Ukraine in peace negotiations, including financial aid and military assistance, encompassing air defense systems, missiles, and ammunition.
