
Sushila Karki, the interim Prime Minister of Nepal, is set to constitute the nation’s interim government. She delivered a speech on Sunday, emphasizing the need for the country to support its young population. Her cabinet is expected to include several young leaders. The ministers of the new interim government are slated to take their oaths on Monday. Key ministers for the interim government led by Karki have been finalized. Information from Sheetal Niwas (Presidential House) indicates that Om Prakash Aryal, Rameswor Khanal, and Kulman Ghising are among those who will be sworn in. Sushila Karki took the oath as Nepal’s Prime Minister on September 12 and stated that the previous government was removed due to corruption. She has pledged to combat corruption and meet the expectations of the youth. On Sunday, Karki stated, “We will not stay here for more than six months. We will fulfill our responsibilities and hand over the command to the next parliament and ministers.” The President of Nepal has confirmed that general elections for a permanent government are scheduled for March 5.
