A joint declaration was issued, expressing strong opposition to all forms of terrorism. The statement highlighted the importance of combating cross-border terrorism, preventing the funding of terrorist activities, and eliminating safe havens for terrorists. The leaders, representing both original and newly added members of the BRICS alliance, called for zero tolerance towards terrorism, rejecting any double standards in counter-terrorism efforts. Prime Minister Modi stated that condemning terrorism must be a matter of principle, not convenience, emphasizing the devastating impact of such attacks on humanity. The summit also welcomed the ongoing work of the BRICS Counter-Terrorism Working Group.
