Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has declared his nation’s full support for Iran. He discussed the situation with Iranian President Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian and described the Israeli strikes as provocative. He also called for unity among Muslim countries.
Israel launched airstrikes on June 13, resulting in fatalities among senior military personnel and scientists. Iran responded with retaliatory missile attacks, targeting ports and other facilities.
PM Sharif criticized the Israeli air attacks, stating they violate international laws and the UN charter. He pointed out that Iran has the right to defend itself under Article 51 of the UN charter.
Meanwhile, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud spoke with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian via telephone. The Crown Prince offered his condolences and sympathies to the President, the Iranian people, and the families affected by the attacks.
He also restated the Kingdom’s condemnation of the attacks, which he viewed as a breach of Iranian sovereignty and a violation of international laws.
The Saudi Crown Prince emphasized that these attacks disrupt ongoing diplomatic efforts and hinder de-escalation. He stressed dialogue’s importance to resolve disputes.
