This fabricated report, published on November 21st, aimed to twist the outcome of India’s retaliatory strikes. However, the French Navy unequivocally denounced the report, stating it contained ‘extensive misinformation and disinformation’ and that the quoted officer, Captain Yvan Launay, never authorized any publication of such statements. The outlet’s error in even misidentifying the officer as ‘Jacques Launay’ further highlights the lack of factual basis in the report. France’s decisive rejection of these claims exposes the Pakistani media’s attempt to create a false victory narrative, demonstrating a complete disregard for truth on the international stage.
