Pawan Kalyan formed ‘Narsingh Varahi Brigade’ to protect Sanatan Dharma

Eluru. Janasena Party (JSP) chief and Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan has announced ‘Narasimha Varahi Brigade’, a dedicated wing within his party aimed at protecting Sanatan Dharma. The announcement was made when Pawan Kalyan inaugurated the ‘Deepam-2’ free LPG cylinder scheme in Jagannathapuram village.

Pawan Kalyan said in his address on Saturday. “I respect all religions, but I stand firm on my faith. Those who criticize Sanatan Dharma or say derogatory things about it on social media will have to face consequences. Therefore, I am setting up a dedicated wing within my party named ‘Narsingh Varahi Brigade’ to protect Sanatan Dharma,”

JSP chief said. “We are implementing our promises to provide better welfare than the previous government. Through the DIPAM-2 scheme, we are distributing three gas cylinders at a cost of Rs 2,684 crore per year to 1,08,39,286 eligible beneficiaries in the state. Over five years, this amounts to Rs 13,425 crore dedicated to welfare,”

He stressed that the coalition government gives priority to the safety of girls and women. He assured strict action against anyone threatening attack or harassment against women. He also said that YSRCP leaders continue to insult women on social media even after a major defeat.

“Any abuse towards women will not be ignored and we are monitoring the social media activities of those involved in this behaviour,” he warned. “From now on, strict action will be taken against anyone who says derogatory things about women.”

The JSP chief talked about his long association with the Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Temple in IS Jagannathapuram, where he had visited during a difficult period in 2009. Recognizing its power and sanctity, he resolved to work for the comprehensive development of the temple.

He said officials have informed him about the proposed budget of Rs 2.5 crore for the construction of the temple and Rs 2 crore for the protective wall. He demanded an investigation into the unauthorized excavations done earlier near the temple and warned of strict action against those responsible.
