Hyderabad/New Delhi. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's 'Shakti' comment has been made a weapon by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to attack the opposition in the elections. At the same time, Modi said in a rally in Jagtial, Telangana, “We have honored the moon landing place by naming it Shiva Shakti. Such is our reverence for Shakti. Responding to Modi's comments, Rahul Gandhi clarified that he was not talking about any religious force, and accused Modi of twisting his words. Rahul said in a post on Twitter, “Modi ji does not like my words, he always tries to change their meaning by twisting them in some way or the other because he knows that I have spoken the truth.”

Modi, who was campaigning for BJP candidates in Shivamogga, criticized Rahul's remarks, saying, “Every woman, sister, daughter, representative of power should teach the INDIA alliance a lesson.” “Congress should know what the consequences of this kind of thinking will be on June 4.”

He said that Shivaji had dedicated his life to the creation of Hindu nation by praying to Goddess Jai Bhavani. “But unfortunately, the Congress-led INDIA coalition has decided to destroy Hindu power in the park named after Shivaji.”

In Jagtial, Modi said that crores of people of the country worship Hindu power. “Our government has always given priority to this representative power of women. Therefore, the landing site of Chandrayaan-3 was named Shiv Shakti Point. For me, every mother, daughter and sister is a form of 'Shakti'. I worship her as 'Shakti'. I am a worshiper of Mother India.”
