According to a recent report, the Pahalgam terror attack, resulting in the deaths of 25 tourists and one civilian, was orchestrated and controlled by Pakistan’s political and military leadership. The ISI and LeT executed the plan, which was directed by high-level officials. The operation resembled the 26/11 Mumbai attacks, exclusively involving Pakistani terrorists. The ISI reportedly instructed LeT commander Sajid Jutt to use foreign terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir, limiting the involvement of local Kashmiri militants. The attack was spearheaded by Sulaiman, a former Pakistani special forces commando who trained at LeT’s Muridke center. He had infiltrated Jammu in 2022 and his presence was confirmed near the attack site by satellite phone records before the assault. Sulaiman was also linked to an attack on an Army truck in April 2023. While initially, Hashim Musa and Ali Bhai were under suspicion, Sulaiman’s role is confirmed by the investigation.
