Russia launched a massive missile and drone attack on various Ukrainian regions on Saturday. The attacks resulted in three fatalities and over 26 injuries. According to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the affected areas encompassed Dnipropetrovsk, Mykolaiv, Chernihiv, Zaporizhzhia, Poltava, Kyiv, Odesa, Sumy, and Kharkiv. The Russian military targeted essential infrastructure, residential areas, and private institutions.
Zelenskyy highlighted that these attacks are designed to intimidate Ukrainian citizens and damage their infrastructure. He also noted a potential meeting with former US President Trump during the upcoming UN General Assembly in New York. Discussions on child-related humanitarian issues between the US and Ukrainian first ladies could also take place.
