A shocking event involved a 13-year-old who stowed away on a flight from Kabul to Delhi. The boy’s initial intention was to reach Iran, but he inadvertently boarded a KAM Air flight. His hiding place was the rear wheel well of an Airbus A340. Astonishingly, the teen endured the entire flight, which lasted 94 minutes. The plane took off from Karzai International Airport at 8:47 AM and landed at Indira Gandhi Airport at 10:20 AM. The environment within an aircraft wheel well presents severe threats, including oxygen deprivation, extreme cold, and the risk of being crushed. According to aviation expert Captain Mohan Ranganathan, the boy may have found a survivable, albeit dangerous, pocket within the wheel bay. This incident is reminiscent of a similar event in 1996, when two stowaways attempted to travel from Delhi to London.
