Airport authorities confirmed the disruption began at approximately 5:30 PM local time, affecting both international arrivals and departures, as well as domestic services. The immediate consequence is a significant number of flight delays and some cancellations, impacting numerous travelers. Efforts are underway by airport personnel to swiftly repair the airfield lighting and resume normal operations.
