Authorities responded to a shooting in Times Square where a teenager allegedly opened fire, resulting in injuries to three people. The incident occurred around 1:20 a.m. near 44th Street and 7th Avenue. An 18-year-old woman was shot in the neck, while two men, aged 19 and 65, suffered leg injuries. All injured parties were admitted to Bellevue Hospital and are reportedly in stable condition. The suspect was apprehended at the scene, and a firearm was recovered. Because of the suspect’s age, their name has not been made public, and charges are still pending. The shooting took place a week after another violent incident, where a gunman armed with an AR-15-style rifle opened fire in a Manhattan skyscraper, resulting in four fatalities before the shooter took their own life.
