Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla, is on course to reach a landmark financial achievement. Forecasts indicate that his net worth is expected to reach the trillion-dollar milestone by the year 2033. Based on Forbes’ Real-Time Billionaires tracker, Musk’s current net worth is approximately $500.1 billion. He previously broke records by becoming the first individual to achieve a net worth of $400 billion by December. Musk’s wealth is largely associated with his electric vehicle enterprise, Tesla, where he holds a 12.4% stake as of September 15. Tesla’s stock performance has been strong, with an increase of over 14 percent this year, contributing an additional $9.3 billion to his wealth. The company’s fortunes improved after Musk’s departure from his position as a ‘special government employee’ as head of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) under the Trump administration, enabling him to dedicate more time to the company.
