Shashi Tharoor, a Congress MP, outlined India’s position on Pakistan and terrorism after the conclusion of an all-party delegation. He clarified India’s position: a reciprocal response to any actions by Pakistan. The delegation’s goal was to convey India’s stance to the world. Tharoor highlighted the wide reach of India in comparison to Pakistan. He said the message was clear: ‘If you react, we will react; if you stop, we will stop too.’ The message was understood by many, with respect shown for India’s restraint. Tharoor emphasized that India prioritized development and does not want war. He also noted the more extensive diplomatic efforts undertaken by India. The delegation’s visit underscored India’s unity and ensured its message reached government officials, media, and other influential figures.
