A shooting in Brooklyn, New York, has resulted in three fatalities and eight injuries. The incident occurred at a restaurant early Sunday morning. The New York City Police Department reported that the shooting took place at ‘Taste of the City Lounge’ in the Crown Heights neighborhood at around 3:30 a.m.
Police Commissioner Jessica Tisch reported in a press conference that all three individuals who died were men. Two were aged 27 and 35 years old, and the age of the third victim has not yet been released.
No suspects have been apprehended, and their identities are yet to be determined, Tisch stated. At least 36 shell casings were recovered from the scene, indicating that 36 shots were fired. Tisch stated, “The events of this morning were appalling, and we will investigate to ascertain those responsible.”
