He has also raised concerns about the financial impact, estimating a cost of around $350 billion. Earlier this year, Trump hinted that he wanted to recover these losses through a mineral agreement with Kyiv. The challenge for him is that the mineral wealth being discussed is located in territories that have voted to join Russia.
