In a recent public address, Donald Trump inadvertently mixed up Iran and India, referring to the former as a nuclear state. More notably, he once again claimed that the imposition of steep tariffs was the key factor in preventing a nuclear war involving Pakistan and Iran. Trump explained his strategy of threatening a 200% tariff on nations engaging in conflict, stating this decisive action diffused tensions between Pakistan and Iran in less than a day and prevented widespread loss of life. He strongly advocated for tariffs as a cornerstone of national defense and security. During the same presser, Trump reiterated his assertion that he ended eight wars within his initial eight months, a feat he believes is unparalleled, and suggested that his peace efforts were overlooked. He concluded by saying he cares more about saving lives than receiving awards.
