At the memorial service for Charlie Kirk, held at State Farm Stadium in Arizona, Donald Trump addressed the attendees, offering a strong condemnation of the circumstances surrounding the conservative activist’s death at a rally at Utah University on September 10. Trump’s emotional tribute asserted that the attack was an attack on all conservatives. He underscored that Kirk was murdered for his convictions.
Trump declared, “The gun was pointed at him, but the bullet was aimed at all of us. Charlie was killed for expressing the very ideas that virtually everyone in this arena and most other places throughout our country deeply believed in.”
He also criticised radicals and their media partners, claiming they tried to silence Kirk because of his achievements. Trump cautioned about the dangers of political intolerance and ideological extremism. Additionally, he labelled Tyler Robinson, the person accused of killing Kirk, as a “radicalised, cold-blooded monster.” Trump emphasized that Robinson would face the full legal consequences and criticized those who celebrated Kirk’s tragic demise.
