Donald Trump has once again moved the deadline for TikTok’s operation in the US, now extending it to December 16th. This allows for more time to complete the agreement announced on Monday following talks between US and Chinese officials. Trump’s executive order on Tuesday, the fourth of its kind, gives TikTok additional time to either sell its American assets to a US company or face a ban, effectively overriding federal regulations. The original deadline was initially set for January 19th, before the commencement of Trump’s second term.
