With a second term on the horizon, Donald Trump is prioritizing North Korea. Discussions with Kim Jong Un are scheduled for later this year, as announced during a meeting with the South Korean President. Intelligence suggests that North Korea could be producing up to 20 nuclear weapons annually, increasing its current stockpile of approximately 50 warheads. The United States, along with other nations, is pushing for complete denuclearization of North Korea. North Korea, however, has declared that they will not relinquish their nuclear weapons program. Trump aims to address this issue early in his term, following the previous meetings during his 2016-2020 presidency.
